Batman Concrete Chess Tables
This one-of-a-kind concrete chess table began as a simple sketch on a napkin, brought to life by a client dreaming of something truly unique. They envisioned a table with a leg narrowed in the middle to comfortably fit players’ legs, avoiding any concrete-versus-knee mishaps. Our team crafted it from dark black concrete, resulting in a striking design that evokes the mysterious allure of the Batman Cave. Dubbed the "Batman Table," this custom piece stands as a bold, functional work of art, perfect for intense chess matches in any dramatic setting.
Malia's Legacy Concrete Table Tennis with Cancer Ribbon Concrete Leg
When we were contacted to make a memorial table that would leave a legacy of Ping Pong at Malia's school for generations to come we were humbled and honored. To me there is no better way to remember someone than through the play that they loved. It's a positive and proactive way to remember the good times by creating the playful environment for human interaction. I'm pretty sure we all had a moment or two of teary eyes between the design process and the playground installation.

"Stump Stool" Custom Camp Chess Table
At Stone Age every new product is a thrill to create. The custom products create a lot of excitement for our customers and around the shop. From collaborating on the design elements to figuring out the build. Once it's formed up we can hardly stand the suspense! Unmolding is a big step and then finishing the table. The final step of course is the customer seeing how their new game fits in it's specific designed environment and our favorite part is watching the end users laugh and play.
This custom "Stump Stool" Concrete Chess Set was built for a camp in California. It was a great project and shop visitors really didn't want to believe it wasn't a real stump. We cast live bark and used a couple of colors and stains for the complete effect.
Blinged OUT Custom Concrete Foosball Table
Then sometimes... we build something just because we can! This Foosball table has glass, stone, aluminum, glow in the dark and lighted inlays!!! Once in a while our shop manager Billie Maddux gets a wild hare and WATCH OUT. He is the best in the world at this. With aluminum men and stainless rods our concrete foosball games are serious outdoor fun, but this one takes the cake with glow in the dark aggregate and lighted glass inlays around the play surface! How wild can we make it? How wild is your creativity?

Antler Concrete Ping Pong Table
When an Avid Antler collector asked if we could make a Concrete Table Tennis Table for his game room our answer was enthusiastic! He provided the antlers (legally required) and we went to work on the antler theme net and leg inlays. The hand swirl acid stain tops set off the color pattern and we designed some custom net brackets to pull the whole thing together using the antlers as net supports. This picture was taken at install and the game room was new. This place had everything from Moose to Blacktail Deer. Quite an impressive collection. They had a beautiful pool table built for the game room as well. Here is to years of play with your close friends and grandchildren.
Turning Ideas Into Concrete Reality: Custom Game Tables That Last Generations
At Stone Age Concrete Games, every project starts with a simple yet powerful idea—create something that will bring people together for years to come. Our custom concrete game tables are more than just recreational pieces; they’re lasting works of art that invite play, connection, and community. Whether it’s a ping pong table at a school, a chess table in a park, or a one-of-a-kind foosball table for a private game room, we thrive on turning creative visions into enduring reality.
A Collaborative Design Process
The process always begins with listening. We start by exploring your ideas—concept sketches, inspiration photos, or even just a vision for how people will use the space. From there, we interpret what’s possible in concrete, applying our expertise in design, materials, and playability. Our team works hand in hand with customers, design firms, and planners to narrow down the options that best capture the spirit of the project.
Once a direction is clear, we move into technical drawings and production planning. Every detail matters, from the scale and proportions to the finish and durability. Our forms are custom-built for each project, ensuring that the final product isn’t just functional but also a true reflection of the client’s vision. When the time comes to cast the piece, the shop is full of anticipation—because each table is unique, and the first reveal is always exciting. The end result is a table that fits seamlessly into its environment and brings joy to everyone who plays.
Working With Design Firms and Architects
Many of our projects begin as part of a larger design vision. Landscape architects, urban designers, and resort planners often approach us with a concept that needs a custom touch to make a space truly memorable. Our expertise lies in bridging the gap between creative concepts and real-world execution. We understand the technical considerations—structural integrity, safety, weather resistance, and ADA compliance—and combine them with artistic design elements.
Because our tables are built to last decades, they become integral parts of public and private spaces alike. For designers, we’re more than a vendor; we’re a collaborative partner who can help bring a bold idea to life while ensuring the finished product is practical and built to endure heavy use.
Supporting Park Planners and Municipal Projects
Public spaces are at the heart of what we do. Parks, plazas, and schoolyards all benefit from well-designed recreational features that invite community interaction. Our tables have been installed in city parks, waterfront developments, and even correctional facilities—where play fosters positive engagement and social connection.
Working with park planners means balancing aesthetics, safety, and usability. We create tables that can withstand constant use and exposure to the elements while still complementing the surrounding environment. Because our products are fully customizable, we can incorporate logos, colors, or themes that reflect the unique identity of a community. The result is a space that feels inviting and intentional—one where people naturally gather to play.
Creating Custom Pieces for Homeowners
Custom concrete game tables aren’t just for public spaces. More and more homeowners are choosing to add unique, lasting features to their properties—pieces that are both functional and deeply personal. From backyard ping pong tables to custom chess sets, our clients often come to us with ideas that reflect their passions or family traditions.
We involve homeowners in every stage of the process. Whether you already have a clear design in mind or just a few inspirations, we help translate that vision into a finished product that fits perfectly in your space. Because concrete offers unparalleled durability, our tables are designed to be enjoyed by friends and family for decades to come.
From Vision to Installation
Bringing a custom table to life is a meticulous process. After finalizing the design, we build forms tailored to the project and select the right colors, stains, and finishes to achieve the desired look. Our team pays close attention to playability—ensuring surfaces are level, edges are smooth, and dimensions meet official game standards when required.
When the table is finally cast and finished, installation day is the culmination of weeks of collaboration and craftsmanship. Seeing a project in its new home—whether it’s a public park bustling with families or a private game room ready for its first match—is always the most rewarding part of what we do.
